strut tops (proper ones)
Now before you go, oh this has been covered hundred of times, wait, coz my question is different.
Im after some very heavy duty strut tops, adjust ability isnt as important at strength, the generic cusco/tien/japanese ones arent very strong at all (for what im doing anyway) No, im asking mainly the rally ae86 guys here, as there are sweet fa options here in Australia (everyone thinks if its shiny and blue, its good...) What do you use, and where can i get some! TRD solid rubber tops would be ideal, but they are like hen's teeth. something like this; http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php?cPath=907 (the universal ones) are along the lines i want, as im not adverse to machining ones to fit. getting frustrated with the lack of options! thanks. |

I don't get what you mean by hen's teeth, but if you're looking for trd top mounts you can find them here: http://www.fensport.co.uk/parts.htm

jamiemirror Wrote:Just use camber plates. no, i want the spherical bearings to last more than one event..the roads here are insanely rough (been replacing 20mm bearings in solid ally tops in imprezas after one rally) they just take so much punishment and hen's teeth means, chicken's don't have teeth, so its hard to find them Thanks |

TRD strut mounts were NOT excessively costs... 7000 yen each. BUT one side is no longer available, or discontinued. You may find a set out there...but getting them from Toyota, TRD... Japan is no longer an option.
Part#s for the TRD strut mounts are.... 48603-AE851 48609-AE851 - I believe this is the one no longer available...... Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! OST Porting service - http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19991 |
