tacho issues using haltech e6x on 4ag 20v

Hi, I installed a haltech E6X ECU with a haltech ignition module and twin coils for my 4qag 20v.

the engine is up and running great but my original dash tacho didn't work. Im using my Apexi SAFC as a tacho for now.

Someone told me to use an MSD 8910 adapter to correct this issue so I bought it but when I connected it to one of the coils, the tacho works but shows a wrong RPM reading. Tried to connect it to both coils and the engine didn't work correctly.

I'm kind of lost now...

Do a search for tach signal boosters... you need to either beef up the ECU's tacho output signal or figure out which components to change on the dash to make it respond to lower voltage signals.

i believe this is the same,i also have one made for my 4AGZE ae101 since i wont read the signals either

If you can access the negative terminal on both coils, you could make
this for a couple of bux...

For my 20V with MS DIYPNP and 4 Yaris COP's i'm using the 4 IGF signals to drive the tacho.
