what shocks/struts to buy?
I have a set of coilover Ksport in my car, and they work fine but they are very rigid... are very good for trak days, drifting and low daily driver.....
for 100% daily driver y think the best is tokiko Hts os TRD shock whit 5,5 - 6 kg springs front ant 4kg springs rear Regards |

I was thinking about Tokico HTS and Espelir Active GT springs. 4.0 front and 3.1 rear. Let me know your opinion.

Abe, Tokico HTS soft????
Maybe the 4.0 and 3.1 springs are on the soft side for drifting but the HTSs sure can fix that (allthough not that thats what they are for). I do think djex is not going to use his car for that reason though.. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

I read somewhere that Tokico HTS have a fairly stiff bump stroke so those low springrates will feel harder than you'd expect.

What about kayaba? are those anygood? What would be the best buy (also being not expensive), for daily driving / occasional touge / ocasional track - easy/mild.
What sort of springs (stiffnes) and what sort od shocks. And i dont want to go really low, 5 cms max. do i need short strokes for 4-5 cm drop? |

what shocks/struts to buy?
Mux213 Wrote:Abe, Tokico HTS soft???? Yes and No, I said tokiko HTS with 4 and 3'1 kg spring rate are bit soft to drift or trakdays, compare whit my ksport or other coilovers kits whit 7-8 kg front spring rate. I think that the soft or stif change whit the spring rate, and slightly whit the shocks.... By theory the socks absorve rebound of the springs and the springs regulates the hardness. Regards |

what shocks/struts to buy?
I would go for the Kayaba AGX.
Not so expensive but not cheap too. They are adjustable. So it is the middle solution. They cost about 150 E each! Cheers Toyota Corolla KE30 + Toyota Corolla AE86 |
