what tires size do i need?
hi, i have bought some new rims. rota BM8 15inch 9j.

what tires size do i need?
I put 195/50/15 on them, use them on the back for drifting. I also tried stretching 195/45 on them but the sidewall was too stiff. Now i got 215/40/15 on them for track use.

Different manufacturers and models of tyres are different width, so you should search the net for models you are planning.
Ive seen some 205 tires that are wide as others 235. Toyo and Falkens are often thinner then rest. Conti and Michelin are right size, when measured. But i agree with NOT going tyrestretch. Looks are often not related to performance and safety. |

I think it would, and that it would look ugly.
225/45 is already big tire, diameter with 15" is slightly larger than stock tires, you should not go bigger profile. |
