what to do with my ae86??

i have an ae86 sr5 automatic but the body is in good shape and i got it cheap. the motor currently has a blown rear main seal. should i just get new engine and tranny? what tranny's work with sr5's? what would be the easiest engine swap? I've heard 20v are difficult to install in sr5's.. what would you guys do? interested in your input

The SR5 is almost the same as a GTS, so any tranny fitting the GTS would also fit the SR5. Most common is the stock T50 which will only fit on any 4AGE if it has got a GTS bellhousing.

But depending on the swap you may need a different tranny.

sweet.. thx man.. i called around a few places to get a price range for the main seal replacement.. they were all in the $400 dollar range.. should i pay that much to get the 4ac fixed?? oh and also does anyone know how to make my signature picsture smaller lol
