Hmmm,

It does seem that I get rss updates from the buy/sell sections but it will not show the content but instead give me a nice login screen

I can't get thunderbird to remember the password though, guess it doesn't work together with firefox that well...

RSS you should also be able to view summery only, not completely sure why that mode does not work....

*edit* ah, it only looks at that for new messages, I now get just the text for the post with a link to the page, MEGA MEGA cool!

Can someone explain this RSS feed to me? All I see is a bunch of things that look like this:

Ivan,

That is the thing you should see. Its basically a list of all new posts but then in a predefined XML format.

There are a number of programs that can use this information one of which is thunderbird. Thunderbird is an email program made by the same guys that made firefox (kickass internet browser). Basically it checks the RSS feed periodically asif it was an email box and when new messages arive you get notified about this. When you visit multiple fora like me that is pretty easy, I dont have to jump around fora all the time, I just check my email proggy.

As far as I know you can't reply to the messages through this program, but you can simply click a link to directly go to the page on the forum.
