i think it's Dex , the owner of thát pink 200SX where they tried to stretch the tires on. But he's from rotterdam, NOT from Brabant

I've moved to a bigger shed now (yay ) from 20m2 to 45m2, lot's more space and a quieter area (so i can make more noise, i was in the middle of a block of houses before ).
Yesterday i removed the complete rear axle, which went surprisingly well, i got it off pretty fast. now painting the engine mounts and springs: repaint the stuff, put in polybushes, swap LSD into another housing, with better gear ratio and refit the other way around! Doc's KE20: - really coming together now
Hi, I'm a Norwegian old school Toyota enthusiast! I own several classics myself, and I love them
With Norway being the suckiest country to own cars in in the whole world and the TE27 Corolla never was imported here, I figure I'd have to build one from a KE20. I'm looking for a TE27 instrument cluster (Speedo, Combination Meter Fuel/Temp) and tachometer) ! I assume this is extremely hard to dig up? Anyone knows of anything? Found nothing in Australia... Sincere greetings from the cold northlands! |

you need the cluster from a US TE27 SR, RHD clusters won't fit your dash.
And then you can swap in your own speedo to make it Km/h (needs some cutting on the plate). "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

woohoooo 2T-G = done!
engine is almost new (only pistons where re-used, because they where within limit and nowhere to be found new ) new timing chains, tensioners, slippers, bearings, gaskets etc. etc. I'm gonna paint the camcover, but it needs to warm op to let the wrinkle finish paint 'work' its magic I can feel the love between the 2 allready, let's hope for a good marriage "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

i still have 2 other engines of which i can build one
give me a yes, and a shedload of money moneywise, it's cheaper to go to 4A-GE i think, you have to be a complete nutter to want a 2T-G in "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

So you fall into that last class I guess.
I'm still not sure what to do with the Carina... 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
