why do you need a pressure regulator? Different types for different applications..

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

I'm on a mission to replace the old parts with new parts but trying to replace with OEM or parts which will give same sort of performance.. not looking to go faster..

got anything for that? Smile

Can you try refinishing the old fuel rail and regulator? There isn't really any performance to be gained in the regulator unless you plan on doing some very dirty oldschool tuning or boost. I would save those pennies to spend on something you'll really notice and enjoy later on.
The OEM regulator is nicely small and light. It fits perfectly on the fuelrail and gives exactly the right pressures and flows for normal 4A-GE's. Most aftermarket items seem to be built for airplanes.. To be honest, I would consider them mostly a downgrade due to their weight. Every regulator out there will work (just don't use a carby unit).

When you mean refinish just clean it up and basically see if i can rebuild it? but i'm worried that with the weather over here if its on its last legs.. Our weather is a killer for cars and its OEM parts..

But I will take your word for it and try rebuilding it and keep the original as it is.

Can you help me with the injectors then? I found out in my last tuneup that one of them were not pressuring as same as the others.. what could be the telltale signs of these on a superficial level? can the engine miss a bit?
