Stock valves and Performance Springs from Aussie!

This cant use cams with VVT is a myth from AE86DC. Its ALL about how they are dialed in.

20V cams - CATCAMS vs KELFORD?
Hello guys. I have an AE111 blacktop. I want to keep VVT and buy some catcams camshafts. I will go for 260 in both sides with 9mm lift. I am currently have a Mine's ECU on my car.
Will this setup work? If head skimmed and a TRD headgasket 0.8mm used, will it still work with the VVT?

Thanks! Thumbs up!

Hey folks....

I ended up buying Kelford 194-B's. Paid $550 USD for them new back in july of 2010.

They are in my engine right now but I'm a bit alarmed. I was told I could use stock valve springs, but I have less than 20 thousandths of clearance between the valve spring at max lift! (.508mm)

Do you guys think that is cutting too close? I havent even run the engine to see if VVT will work....
