Tires
While going for the yearly checkup i found myself in the good of a set of 15" rims with good tires. Now here is the crappy part its so grippy that even with rain its hard to let the car slide with dry weather i could only drift with more than 6k rpm normally with my old tires with no grip AT ALL it was almost econ driving while drifting.
How is the experience of driving with snow :-) ???? Cars: "99 Lexus IS200 "86 AE86 Kouki Panda Levin GT-Apex (restore project) "84 AE86 Zenki Blue Levin (project racer) Motorcycles: "02 Yamaha R1 "02 Honda Hornet S "08 BMW R1200GS |

Please lets keep it like that for the moment....those how to threads usually dont get the message across anyway and end up being more than 10 pages long.

Tires
I use 15" Toyo T1S tyres for grip driving, and have a set of 14" Kumho tires for drift driving.
I also can't drift in the dry with T1S, but in the wet, it's much better. With 14" drift tires, i don't need no rain or snow. Speaking of snow, i ordered myself set of 4 Barum Polaris 175/70/14 winter tires. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |
