a wee project ive been muching around with for the last year! dont have any good before photos just yet but it was completely std, plenty of rust

modifications ive done are:
full strip and re paint
all new lights (genuine)
repaired all interior
flaired front gaurds
flaired rear gaurds
custom front bumper

engine:
4agze block, rods, crank
modified 4agze pistons
smallport head
bluetop cams
trd valve srpings

evo 9 560cc injectors
bosch 055 fuel pump
cusotm intercooler and piping
custom inlet manifold
sr20de throttle body
link g4 computer with display link

4 pot front brakes 320mmx32mm disks
cresida struts
koni adjustable inserts
coil over platforms front and rear
re designed rear suspension geometry
15x8 wheels(to be changed)
mr2 rear brakes

6 speed altezza gearbox on custom belhousing
225mm 6 puk firction plate
re pressured cover
custom lightweight driveshaft
hilux diff
custom lsd 2 way unit

to be done:
custom ex manifold
td05h t3 turbo
full stainless exsaust
tail wastegate


so many other things but thats the majors

a few snap shots, havent got any of it on the hoist with suspension complete but should have some in the next week or so. hopefully get it started this weeekend if i get into gear and make the ex manifold

everything was done in my garage by me ( minimal parts brought )

Do you have picture of MR2 rear brakes installed please?
Did you use disc and caliper from MR2?
Is it plug and play? which model did you use please?
Mine (OE) are in bad condition so I'm considering to change / upgrade.

hi yes mr2 sw20 turbo model disc and caliper (vented disc)
i can get a picture once i out it back on the hoist, the are not a bolt on item, required re drilling of stud holes , and machining of axels to suit disc. then a brake mount made, bearing in mind this has a hilux diff so not sure how they would go bolted onto an ae86 item.
handbrake cables are a chalenge on the mr2 setup id sugguest making a setup with internal drum handbrake




UPDATE!!

finally recieved the turbo today! had work so only got a few hours to work on it! first turbo manifold ive made so its a learn as i go much harder than na ones ive found out! the merge collector take some patience!











hopefully get the manifold done and faced tomorrow then its exsaust time!

I did make mine hilux axle whit Altezza brakes. quite big solid disk. 2pot caliper and best of all with internal drum handbrake. Not bolt on setup but nice to do. new holes disk, little modifying to get "back plate" to work whit hilux/hiace axle. And make mount the caliper.

I think handbrake cable work of ke70? i must find pair somewhere in garage and check..

Hi mate, excellent build.
I have notice that you have a cooper pipe coming in to the fuel rail, you should have a flexible hose there, the cooper will fatigue and fail with engine vibration ......
