Have a Koyo on my AE86, doesn´t fit needed to cut the bottom rubber dampers and the top brackets. ANY alloy rad will do, its not like the come out of the factory with leaks just because the are cheapSmile
Maybe the welds are not as beautiful as but the all do the same job!

Mate is running Mishimoto, fits allright but still needed modification, too.

Where are you getting the rad from? The States? Misimoto has dealerships in Europe, that will save you tax and such.

Have anyone tryed running with a upgraded aloy radiator from a Honda Civic? It's pretty narrow compared with a AE86 radiator, wich will make enough room for a huge airfunnel to the ITB's The height is almost the same and its 5cm thick.
I know the mounting brackage won't fit, but hey, its just metal

But I'm a bit worried off the smaller radiator, will propperly cool a high output 4A-GE.

Project AE86 now begun.

Cars I have owned:
Toyota Starlet EP91 1,3 16v Turbo, 200hp
Toyota Starlet EP71 1,3 12v Sport
Mercedes 207D camper, 1977.
Toyota Starlet EP70 with a 174hp Silvertop 20v See video here:

Toyota Corolla AE101 with a 164hp Silvertop 20v. (Evolution bodykit and candycolor paint).
Volvo 240 2,1 (The only car I have maked money on).
Toyota Corolla EE90 (my first car)

I've been using CRX radiator for 5 years, that's the way I got my car, worked fine.
Tuned my 4AGE a bit recently, not sure if it will still work, but probably will find out Smile.

If someone finds some fat similar designed radiator from some European car, let me know, not relly in the mood to spend 400+ $ for Godspeed/Mishimoto/Koyo Smile.

Regards

I'm running a cheap ebay civic alloy radiator with a pretty powerful electric fan on my 4A-GZE and it runs cool as ice.
