S13 Front brakes in AE86 rear
maybe start with bigger discs like said above, its an cheap update unlike the s13 front brakes in the rear i think.
seems weird that rear doenst lock, even with stock setup i had plenty of luck. Maybe its another problem? |

S13 Front brakes in AE86 rear
It might be the rear discs being too worn out and using crappy pads.. But whatever it is unfortunately even with a hydro setup it doesn't lock up.
I was looking at getting steel braided lines and new discs and using mintex pads but now I'm thinking given that I have the S13 parts lying around I'd use it in one go. Its cheaper in the long run. Even to use larger discs I need to use the AJPS adapter plate or make one.. I'm thinking to do both 3 things in one go. Go for large discs, go for larger calipers and go even larger than S13 rear brakes which is whats done normally. Cheated on my いたずらな女の子 and now I can't get enough of her.. |

Your current setup being completely worn out might be the reason. Another thing to check before starting to do any changes is insuring that the system is free of air. Hydro's are a bit tricky to bleed properly and thoroughly.

S13 Front brakes in AE86 rear
A small update.
The workshop started on getting the S13 front brakes on the 86 rear. Discs put on and hoping to get the bracket done soon. As I'm using 16" wheels the caliper should clear the wheels easily Cheated on my いたずらな女の子 and now I can't get enough of her.. |
