'84 ae86 restoration project

Hi,

Some of you guys might remember me from this project http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/t/54...sc/start=0

I now bought another ae86 to restore for street use, it has a lot of work on the body side of things, few rusty spots, but nothing really extreme. It's a zenki model with kouki face, I have both zenki and kouki bumpers grills and brackets but like the kouki face better. It has nice black interior, only thing missing is the parcel shelf.

It already had some nice specs when I bought it,
Greddy Coilover
T3 panhard bar
Prothane bushing kit
Goodride brake hoses
New brakecalipers all round
Trd 2way diff with kouki axles and 4.7 r&p
Sparco buckets
Willans seatbelts
Full sparco rollcage
SSR XR4 7x14 et 12f and 7.5x14 et-12r

The plan is to remove the rollcage, and put it to normal driving condition again. I missed just getting in the car and driving it whenever I wanted. I'm keeping the 16v for now with some simple mods.

haha glad you still missing driving 86 as daily! where is the car come from?
I wish I will be around sooner to pick up my wheels, then I can see this car too!

It was from a guy I knew for a long time in Hasselt. Only 15minutes from my home. He didn't have the time anymore to restore it like it should. The wheels are still safe here

Thanks, will be a lot of work left, it has some pretty bad rust spots, but all will be fixed and it's going in for a fresh coat of paint aswell :wink:
