Hello Guyz,

It as many options (Power window & AC) and everything work No specific plans for now just make the engine bay a bit cleaner, lower it and change the wheels for a set of XR-4. Published also a all bunch of picture on FB : https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=...436&type=3 Coming days I'm gonna lift it up to try some parts on and check the chassis, will keep you guys updated Michael IPHIGENIE http://www.zenky-racing.com zenkyracing [AT] gmail.com (msn / email) Member of Pandaz Ridaz Crew |

Welcome and that's a very nice Carina!
It is a XE meaning it is not a Japanese market car. Any idea where the car originated from initially? I see you get the adjustable steering column, dimmable gauge cluster as well! Never seen the white stripe between the two headlights but they look nice. What are the 'handles' on the B pillar in one of the photos on FB for? 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Thank you very much guys for you comments The car was imported from South Africa, sorry I forgot to mention about that I need to look closer to those handles as I really don't know their function right now ... Wheels arrived I did a chassis check today and I'd like to change all the bushings down there any idea where to order them and witch model I'll need? I saw a set for the AE86 Bushings on T3 website. Also need to change the Tie Rods End. For the suspension : The front AE86 Coilovers will be welded on the original spindle. For the rear everything looks the same. For the camber plate, my camber plates have the good PCD but adjustment is not correct, it seems that I can get caster and camber adjustable if I install them a certain way. I might CNC new plate to be sure the setting will be correct. Michael IPHIGENIE http://www.zenky-racing.com zenkyracing [AT] gmail.com (msn / email) Member of Pandaz Ridaz Crew |

I think I saw that lever on another Carina before and remember that it is some sort of lever that tensions the sea tbelt when you close the door.
About the bushings: I ordered a set from T3 for the AE86 to sort out which ones do fit on the Carina but that has stalled since I got an AA63 where I need to transplant stuff from first. Where did you get those camberplates from? 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Hello Banpei, I guess I'll have to test the bushings first as I'll install the suspension in two weeks or so Those camber plates are for MX73, I used to have a Cressida before and I was pretty sure that the camber plates was the same Michael IPHIGENIE http://www.zenky-racing.com zenkyracing [AT] gmail.com (msn / email) Member of Pandaz Ridaz Crew |

Many parts are shared in the big Toyota parts bin. My camberplates are USDM Corolla TE72 plates.
