Starting problems 4-AGE kouki

Hi folks,

i recently visted a fellow AE86 owner. He is from the netherlands. He restored his AE86 with his father. They are boat builders so there are quite handy with body work. His problem is that his engine won't start. His mechanic says that the injectors are turned off by something as soon as engine tries to run.
It almost starts and if it starts it immediately goes out.

Engine wasn't rebuild he changed oil pan, air intake and exhaust header. The harness is stock.
He check the TDC,

I also uploaded a video from his ae86. Maybe somebody has an idea.

Missing or bad injector ground most probably. The part of the wiring of the injectors has a small ground attached to it. This usually connects to the intake manifold between cylinder 1 & 2 (if I remember correctly).

Thank you Bean, i sended your answer back to Ruben. I think we found something related to the ground wiring of the injectores. Ruben will also register here and make a thread from his AE86 restauration. His AE86 had quite a lost of rust.

As Bean says above, just to add that it may initiaĺly be trying to start only on the cold start injector. This works when you crank the engine on the starter.
