HELP ME. URGENT!
AW11 should probably have stronger rear brakes due to the weight distribution..I once got the aw11 brakepads (well..it said mr2, but I suspect it was aw11 due to small size) by mistake and they dont fit the ae86 calipers.
BTW, I ended up just rebuilding all the rubbers on the rear calipers and not bothering with the mechanical internals... It was quite a struggle to turn those pistons out though. How come you're so sure that they arent repairable? Go for skyline rear calipers....Iida Akira has them to y'know FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

HELP ME. URGENT!
I'm no expert on the matter but from the person who has looked at them he has said that the mountings are quite worn and that to just replace the mounting bolt and bush may not help matters for very long they are just too worn.

HELP ME. URGENT!
Yes, but the mountings are attached to the rear axle and can be replaced...I assume they mean the metal sleeve that the caliper slides on.
Have a good look at it or take a picture so we can see the exact problem. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

HELP ME. URGENT!
I had a look at the epc, looks like the mr2 ones are the same,
part number 47750A for the RH one 47730B for the LH one th final part number is different because it adds the model code to it, but the exploded views are very similar, on further investigation it looks like the fwd AE82 GT shares them as well |

HELP ME. URGENT!
I worked out how to use the epc better, heres a screen dump of all matching vehicles for the same rear caliper assembly
*update* tried some other parts including the halfshaft, and that listed both ae86 models so maybe the list below is not as good as i thought |

HELP ME. URGENT!
I just checked over at Fensport and looking at it, the AW11 does indeed have the same rear calipers (why I didnt check before I do not know ) . I think this could help matters. Also I did try taking a picture of the rear assembly but alas my camera has no flash so at night I get rubbish pictures
