Doc, send NoHachi a PM...I believehe had the same problem once, and had some wrecking yard convert the front control arms so they could put in new balljoints..(this was on his civic though)...it's worth a shot..
There is also a good chance that ae86 stuff might fit with a little effort.

last night JonT helped me ALOT, he found some ball-joints on ebay for me.
Strangely those parts didn't show up when i looked for them.

I'm in contact with one of those sellers, he can send me a set.
Andi got an email from a dutch guy who also has a KE20. He has some of those arms in his shed Smile

It's gonna be alright soon.
If i see how many people are helping me out these days!

Doc, that sounds like progress allright, I'm sure you'll have the car on the road in no time!

Its really ashame the RDW doesn't simply approve your car but fails MOT on it for such a relatively small problem so that you atleast have the Dutch tags and can just go to any MOT station with it..

you call it 'small', but if the play gets really worse, the suspension can drop out, and then my car is with his nose on the ground Smile

Yearly MOT is cheaper, but the first time it's a big checkup, and so it's more expensive.

ok, the ball-joints i bought on ebay australia came in yesterday!

So today my spare front arms are going to be used to press in the ball-joints. After that, time to call mister RDW Smile

Small chance i can make it to the dutch ITT meeting (28th of August) and a slightly bigger chance to make it to the AEU86 BBQ Big Grin
