Big brakes on my SE-86 at last.
Long time no visit guys!
I'm being cheeky and have decided to call it an SE-86 from now on. The big brakes are on, and they seem to work well so far. The difference between the standard AE-86 disc and the big one. Test fit on the strut. 16" wheel, still plenty of room left. No backing plate, so I have to keep some temps in the brakes in puddles. Here's the mounting bracket, milled from a large chunk of alloy. Toyota RAV4 discs, 300m diameter 19mm thick & ventilated, Wilwood Dynalite four-spot cailpers, milled backing plate from a large chunk of alloy. So far well worth the effort. |

Looks good Bill..nice to see you around again.
Did you have to redrill the RAV discs or do they have the same PCD on the disc itself? FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

That's only on the hub, I believe the disc itself has a smaller PCD, as you can see in the pic of the two discs.

Yep, they're re-drilled.
I tried to get them undrilled but couldn't do it. Now to make the rears larger .... |
