Okay,
Pictures of the wing First off, the left light doesn't wanne fit, we haven't figured out yet what pushes it into the wrong position but we'll need to remove the light again and start sanding bit off to see if we can get it fitting correctly. Interestingly the right side was a perfect fit Second, again the left side, underneath it is just to wide: The right side really has a perfectly fitting fender, but the left side leaves some wishes. The only remark I can have for the right side is that the fender is slightly flatter then original, but this hardly shows. When we took the original right side fender off we found out it had been spray painted before. When we took the left side off we notice the bumper is slightly deformed. Looks like the car has had a fender bender some time ago. We didn't find any signs of accident repair or welding, only evidence that the car has been resprayed at some time. Some more pictures: Just took the right side off. I wonder if the black coating is stock. I did find out that my car was tectiled several years ago which is GOOD The new right fender is on Almost have the left fender on: Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Hello Bas,
Looks great those new fenders Seen the prices in the other topic, and that makes me want some to. My friend is working at OAD and he was mentioning that maybe it was posible that a busdriver picked op parts in England, if the trip came nearby the guy who have the bodypanels. Okay guys,
Here is a picture on my powdercoated rimms. The flash on my camera makes the color look lighter then it is, I'm fairly pleased with it although I think it would have been nicer if I had them mix in a little bit of a metalic effect: Here is a picture of the work on the dent in my rear right fender: Its not a new panel, the old panel was only slightly rusted underneath but the thing was just dented inwards. So we did it the way and just used a filler to shape it. I must say I am very happy with the result. The paint is just a temporary toppaint, it will be sanded and reworked again before a real primer is put over it and then the car will be prept for a full paint job Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Your friend does some great work on those bodypanels, I have seen it for myself now
My remark about the seat mounts has taken on a different perspective after I dropped by to have mine rewelded. My rear left mount had simply come off (nice and clean, spotwelds gave in), since I'm a 100kg kinda guy the front right linkage had broken off as well because of the seats increased instability. I think the whole seat would have come loose if I would have done some performance driving again. Thanks again for helping me out Mux! FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
