main ignition switch keylock
i want to replace the main ignition switch-lock.
Anybody that can help me with that ? How can i take the old main switch out and replace it ? Thanks AE86 FANATIC!!! |

you need to put the key in the right position (see manual) and then press down on a little pin at the top and pull it out..

Alimonos, some cars use following trick:
Insert the ignition key. Turn it anti-clockwise to the max. Push it deeply (if this is correct technique, you will feel that you can push it ~5-6mm deep). Then turn the key clockwise to the max. Pull the entire assembly out. Try with clockwise and anticlockwise. This works with most of japan cars. |

I think you need to put the key exactly vertical... the pin is at the top of the keycilinder...right behind the round metal front edge.
