Mux213 Levin GTS
Thanks to the 2 year anniversary drive I got a new picture of my car
As you can see I've been very busy on my front fenders. They are currently in a new coat of paint. I also filled the holes where the blinkers where and the antenna was with fiberglass and filler. I need to sand a few bit and fill 2 small bits that turned out not to be correctly filled with filler. Then one more coat of paint and finally finish it off with a clear coat. Hopefully it will then match the rest of the car again Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Note,
The painting is just a cheap temp solution for now so even if the paint doesn't match up 100% I'm not stressed. I'll be fixing up my rear bootlid next and welding up some other bits. also noticed some rot above my windscreen setting in and around my filler cap so those need to be addressed. When all that is done, and I'm satisfied all the rust of my car is fixed, I'll properly sand her down and give her a respray, but that wont be until a year or two from now.. Muxi, if you used my guide on closing holes in wings, you wouldnt have to use filler more than one time
A good trick is painting with flat primer when you think the surface is straight. When its dry its easy to see where it needs more filler. You can also use sprayfiller on a rattlecan. It took me about an hour to close the antennahole (not including time for filler and primer to dry) and the result is perfect. You remembered to use "body-kit" on the back of the fender right? If you dont, the hole will get moist and the fiberglass will sink, and you dont want that to happen Youtube Myspace and I´ll Google your Yahoo |

Knudsen, I know, I'm using that trick on the RX7, with the hachi it just became to late and I rushed it a bit. I thought I had gotten it right (I had already sanded that part twice) and didn't figure I had missed some after I already painted it the right color.
I did the right side fender perfect though, no signs on that fender there was ever a hole there Body kit? I put a layer of tectile on the back Moisture should get anywhere close to it Awell by the time its time for a complete respray of the car there is a good change I'll remove this stuff and weld in some proper metal bits anyways Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Got myself a new little steering wheel Steering wheel is slightly deepdishy but it actually doesn't really come much more forward then the stock wheel which is what I was hoping for.. Awell don't matter, its smaller diameter then the stock one which I'm liking already and it was cheapish. Also I got an OMP hub for the price of the cheaper one because the cheap ones were out of stock so thats pretty cool

Did the steering become a lot more heavy? I once drove an old corsa with a tiny wheel and that one just tried to wrestle itself out of you grip every time things got interesting.
Can you also still see the instruments in the dash? A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
