Found some more rust boehoehoehoe, we'll be cutting that out later, not sure yet what we'll replace it with


The sides are fine though!


Car is completely sanded except for the top. Amazing what good tools can do, Martijn did this in a couple of minutes He's gonne sand it again just before the primer coat goes on and do loads of other stuff to get the body really smooth

Í thought you had already taken a peek under the bumper...it's a well known rust area. Your's looks pretty well preserved though. Make sure you clean the seam between the panels very well, since that is where most of the rust seems to start, might also be an idea to check it from the inside as well.

Ivan, I had but its hard to see without the bumper off.

And on the inside there is some rust aswell, we are going to take care of that soon aswell but its not something that needs to be fixed pretty

My car after priming:


'Unfortunately' after this we needed to already start painting the ledges and such in the color to be so it turned into this:


The final color will be the same blue it is now, however the fresh paint color is more deep, obviously the sun has done some bad work to it.... Photos dont do it justice but this should give an indication of the color:

I would love to get my hands on one of the 'Hot Version' TRD grilles.

Its just the one from the ae86 special video.

The wide bodied race car that TRD owns has a grile just like yours but the Levin badge has been replaced by one that says 'Hot Version'

I may actually be something to do with Best Motoring. Its the video where Tsuchiya has the pointing stick and is bowing down to the car.
