ok some new parts arrived today
A'PEXi power intake SARD Magnetic Oil plug TRD horn button ![]() ![]() ![]() also my TRD 0.8 Metal Headgasket arrived raises the compression some got a new set of drift rims as well ![]() ordered the ACL Bearings, and new pistons and rings from america £121 delivered also ordered the ARP Flywheel bolts Dad has gotten me an engine from ebay £68 perfect for full rebuild going to see how much to get the crank lightened and balanced as well the workshop lol ![]() ![]() cam covers have been painted same colour as the car they look black in the pic however lol ![]() ![]() DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

ARP flywheel bolts turned up
just trying to source an oil pump from a AE101 levin now, thats the 20v silvertop 4age has higher presure and flows more, only prob is enever done this car in the UK also trying to get hold of some TODA valve springs whilst i have the engine stripped down this far gettinf the flywheel and crank lightened and blanced as well £50 plus vat trying to source a ARP bolt kit for the engine as well for a reasonable price most of my parts are coming from america ![]() DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

well collected my engine from preston
199.9 miles down and the same back left at 3:30 pm got there at about 7:15 pm left an hour later and got home at 12:45am my 1.6 mk2 jetta wasnt to keen on the hills on the way back haha with trailer and engine on tow 64k 7rib engine assuming it is a redtop as it has red cam lettering seems in pretty good nick, has new dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads, and plugs, t-vis also looks new but thats not much use to me. still waiting on parts to arrive befre the rebuild can start anyone know of the MR2 or AE86 crank is better? anyway here are some pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

not to disappoint you but thats a 7 ribbed blue top engine. Which means
40mm crankshaft 18mm piston pin Its not the 7 ribbed engine which had a smallport head and the same crankshaft and connecting rods as a 20v or gze. These engines are fine. Seen one at 200 hp with a 3 ribbed lower block. actually I would put this engine and drop it straight in. Then rebuild the original engine.... As long as you aint spending alot of money on the engine and it won't reach more than 180 or more HP its no use having a 7 ribbed. i know its not a smallport engine
my original engine is a 3rib big port not rebuilding my original as it needs a rebore and oversized pistons i plan on buying the toda highcam computer kit in a couple of years so i will use the new engine as a base as it is low milage AE86 high cam computer KIT.
