Jezza HR's Project..now with 20V goodness
Ahh, just been told this is normal as a Celica owner friend of mine has told me they suffer the same problem when installing them. He told me that most people will just remove the light from the dashboard Undecided

On seconds thoughts, is there an easier way to do this instead of removing the whole dash?

Yes, find out how the rear light indication works and come up with a sensible fix.. something must be unconnected in the wiring loom with the redlines( 1 big light instead of 2 separate ones?).
Might well be a case of running a jumper wire to a connector, and you'll be left with a working indicator light too.

Jezza HR's Project..now with 20V goodness
As some of you may have realised, I was in a sticky situation at the weekend and was stuck at the side of the road after my clutch gave up completely from a previous night of having the back end out.

Me and a good friend started to change the clutch for a nice new Helix. We got the transmission off and finally the clutch. This is what I find-

A lightened flywheel (which will be for sales shortly due to only being 200mm)

and a very shagged clutch

Anyway, I am now waiting on getting a pilot bearing as it has completely disintegrated with only a washer left over and then I will be installing the new Helix 212mm clutch with a 20v Blacktop flywheel.

Expect further updates from Tuesday Thumbs up!

A project risen from the dead, due to my little time spent amongst these pages.

However I now have something in hand to look forward to

I picked these items up yesterday from Black Betty

I will be fitting the engine in a couple of months. I just need to get my ECU etc together and then I can start making some progress.

It is in fact a Silvertop with black cam covers. A sheep in wolves clothing if you will Tongue

However, the Silvertop has given me inspiration for future upgrades where a blacktop would fall in to the realms of unreliable.
