Ignition problem:connecting T and E1 terminals->no effect
I wanted to adjust my ignition timing as written in the service manual: short T and E1 terminals => 10° BTDC
But connecting the terminals has no effect on the ignition timing. The check engine lamp blinks (no error codes), so the problem is not at the diagnostic plug. I adjusted the timing to 16-17°BTDC (it was about 30° before that  ), and the engine hesitates from 2000-3500 rpm (between 2500 and 3000 it is the worst).The engine is a bluetop with AFM. Has anybody any idea what the problem could be? Daily driver: AE86 - 1985 zenki levin |
