No.. it's not 4AGE.
I found out the engine he bought is a 4AF Crate engine made in california. Basically useless for my build But I have an idea. I want to build the 4AC engine, he already has a ton of parts for it, like a clutch, flywheel, gasketset, new bearings (Thats what the engine needed). So here's what I'm thinking. I want a new carb set up, What should I go with that would bring the most HP? Are the 4ACs cranks internally balanced? How does an underdrive pulley sound? I am going to Port and polish the hell out of everything to maximize volumetric efficiency. Intake and filter will be a must. Header and exhaust will be good too I think. Lopey-er cams and better springs help a lot I've heard. Is the fuel/oil system good enough to handle sideways forces of drifting? Is it okay to weld my diff? Any other ideas that will help me stay in a reasonable budget and keep up with the 4ag guys? Thanks a ton guys! |
