I wouldn't get rid of PAS. Having driven original non PAS 86's - the former's definitely easier to drift with, etc. especially when running larger rims, wider tyres, etc. Also a PAS rack doesn't usually fare too well without fluid running through it as it should. PAS on an AE86 doesn't weigh much - so the benefits of losing it are outweighted by those of keeping it IMHO.
