How to fit rear wheel studs without removing the shafts?

Wheel studs...
Push the stud in from the back and get the splines lined up.
Put a heavy flat washer over the exposed thread. Put a standard wheel nut on the stud backwards (flat side to washer). Put oil or grease on the thread and between the nut and the washer. Pull the stud into the hub by tightening the nut. Note that it is important to have studs with the correct spline diameter. Cheers... jondee86 |
