i know your problem, yes you will have to cut slots out of your bumper to allow duct to pass. if you dont want to cut your bumper you could cut the duct back so it passes the bumper bottom. If you dont do either of these the lip will point downwards. I didnt get mine from mcnsport but mine is 10/20mm too big as well but when you actually start fitting it, it will come in also you can fit a longer bumper support bar and push the bumper corners out to meet it. hope that helps
