For what you want you could either run a normal AE86 alloy rad that sort of fits the genuine mounts, all you have to do is adapt the hoses. Not sure about the outlet diameter on the F20, but the normal Civic runs 30mm i.d. just like the AE86.
Other option, (the worse IMHO) is to buy the s2000 rad and try to adapt it into the AE86, new brackets and stuff, and I bet you´ll still neet custom hoses to suit the AE86 engine bay. Cooling wise it does make no difference, at all. In fact I´ve seen 2,2l drag EP9 Civics with turbos running the normal very small alloy rad. All you need is a good fan, might cost 100€ for one but its money well spend. With the Koyo on my Corolla 1,6 16v I wont need to run the fans under normal driving conditions, even under light drifting it hardly reaches the 100°C, if I switch on the fans it immediately cools it down to 85 deg. 1979 Toyota Corolla KE35 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 |
