The possibility that comes to mind with this scenario, is a blocked oil
pickup strainer. If the engine is badly sludged, it can happen. So it would
be worthwhile popping the sump plug out and seeing what drains into a
clean pan.

An engine does not need much oil flow at idle, but for sure you should
not try and drive it until you figure out why no pressure Confused
