Thanks for the tip about the teflon tape, I hadnt thought about that and makes sense...
Another aspect I thought I'd mention: The connectors in the lines, as well as the bleeder plugs, need to be handled with tender love and care as they are made from brass, a soft material. The purpose of such a soft material is to crush against the cone in the line, so that it can contain the fluid inside, but if you overtighten the nuts they can easily strip. Therefore, you have to be careful...
