|
If you are talking about the Toyota factory oil cooler with a return hose
into the oil pan, then not important. The factory cooler is a by-pass type, and oil is only sent to the cooler when the rpm's (and oil pressure) are high. At lower rpm's the spring- loaded bypass valve is closed, and no oil is sent to the cooler. So for normal around town driving the cooler is just extra weight. Cheers... jondee86 |
