Usually the difference between B6-B8 is an internal bumpstop. Externally they are identical.

You can use different B6/B8 inserts too to make the jump from 30mm to 36mm pistons. From the top of my head Dodge/Mitsu 3200gt/stealth inserts and 200sx S13 inserts will both work as short stroke fitments.

Totally forgot, but there is also the option of having the Driftworks stuff revalved. Feal suspension in the US provide this service and I think there is a UK company doing similar stuff. Imho something to consider.
Still haven't found someone who is willing to measure the total stroke available on the Taiwan specials. If I had that number, I could give you the spring rate range that could be made to work on these dampers.
