like the A6Z/J160 part of the bellhousing covers the actual gears and due to the design of the shifter linkage the transmission tunnel would need a fair amount of changing which I'm not willing to do - for the same reason I'll hopefully go through the daunting process of seamwelding my chassis instead of a cage... I just can get myself to hack up this chassis - it's in too good of a state.
Regarding the final drive I don't know - 3.9 is the tallest I know off. Maybe Dan got some insights on that. Just one last time, I would strongly suggest to look into switching a taller 6th gear - in my opinion you'd be better of that way than with an extremly tall final gear.
