Correct connection brake master cylinder?

I'm only interested in the connection with the bmc. The other ones ive got.
On the left top of the valve there is a 'F' and left bottom an arrow pointing in to the valve.

I would assume F stands for feed but why is there also an arrow pointing in.

On the bmc there is a letter on one port which looks like an F or a P. Ive connected that port to the F on the valve.

Ive already tried to look it up in the manual but no luck. Hence why i'm asking here.

Just want to double check, don't want to have to change it after everything is bled.
