LHD VS RHD headlights (Levin)

Mornin' guys,

My Levin AE86 is a LHD vehicle. When I bought the car, the headlights were visually in great condition, but the height adjustment mechanism was stuck. To get the car through MOT I needed to fix this but I didn't manage to do so.

Anyways, I bought a set of RHD headlights but obviously driving on the LHD of the road, this isn't ideal. Setting my lights low not to blind traffic really leaves me in the dark in winter.

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to just switch the covers of the headlights? RHD to LHD. Anyone done this before? Is it possible to take them apart.
I'm not able to check myself at the moment but this was running through my mind .

Secondly, what bulbs would you recommended for max visibility?
