As we speak, i'm considering buying an old Corolla (KE20, if anyone knows what that is ). It has full roll-cage and bucket seats.

It's used for rallies (not speed rallies, but navigation rallies (dunno if it is the right word)).

Under the bonnet it has the mighty 2K engine with 54 wild mustangs
But considering that the Japanese Coupe from this car had the 2T-G under the bonnet.....

It's not in original state, so why bother bringing it back to original and just make something nice from it

a TA22 GT... if i'd had the money (and the ability to find a REAL one here in holland (as far as i know, there only 5 or 6 left)) i'd certainly go for that one.

Found a soundfile from a 'slight' tuned 2T-G in a TE71.

Bored to 2 liter, special camshafts, blueprinted engine etc. etc. etc.
Result: 165 RWHP

And it sounds like a motorbike: TE71.wav

In this file (captured from a vid) you hear the TE71 race against a Subaru Impreza on the quartermile.
The rev sound in the beginning is NO motorbike, it's the TE71!!

I don't know who wins, but it's a 10,7 vs. 11,3
