As André said: pay attention to the manual and have a press nearby

I would complete advising you to have some atention with the press, otherway you may have additional labour.

The better way to confirm if you're doing right it's every time you come from the press after fitting a bearing, check if you can rotate the input and output shaft by hand.

If you can't something it's wrong (maybe to much force used with the press).

You have always to be able to rotate the shafts by hand.
