Ok, if you're good at writeups then maybe you can explain to me the exact difference in behaviour between 1/1.5 way lsd's and 2-way lsd's. Where will I get oversteer, where will I get understeer and why. Will braking be more stable or less so. Do I need to run schoolbook lines (all braking done in a perfectly straight line, do not turn in untill all braking is done) or do I have to rotate the car by trailbraking into each corner. I haven't read any socalled writeup that genuinly adresses these questions..Just a bunch of semi nerds quoting instruction manuals and talking out of their asses..basically the same thing as the club4AG write-up. Great if you want to build an LSD from scratch, but useless to a driver.

Clues:
Quote:The 1.5 distribute positive lock stronger under acceleration than when decelerating. The 1.5 way can provide more forgiving balance when braking than a full 2 way setup, although it is less effective for true racing applications, it provides easier operation for beginners in throttle off conditions. It is also effective for front drive cars which need extra stability during braking.

Whahahahahaha..WHY is it less effective for racing..neutral balance is not needed for racing? BS and hearsay.
1.5 way better for FWD? Why? I don't get that remark at all..Why would an FWD car need locking action during braking?

Quote:To add to this, Kaaz differentials have higher quality tolerance levels, represented by computer balanced shell casing and gears, and initial pre-load springs are matched to vehicle applications. The reason for small application list is that they go through 3 years of N1 and Gr. A racing to design the differential design and specifications. I prefer the KAAZ because of cheaper entry price tag too, made even better by introductory pricing in the US markets. Consider it the ultimate in LSD.

blah blah blah...straight from the KAAZ user manual probably.

I'm seriously looking for a serious article on this topic, but the inet is filled with drift-only info.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear
