ITB's Stand alone ECU
I was a bit disapointed when picking the car up, all noise and no real go. The car wouldn't drive nice on part throttle - nornal driving, very spluttery. He said it was making about 122/123bhp flywheel. The car originally made 118bhp flywheel. But he said it was running a safe map. He just wanted rid of the car, he had had it for 2 months and I was ringing him 2/3 times a week. I have the software on my laptop so was playing about with when I got home. He wasn't even using the map sensor, I set it up, runs real nice, as nice as a stock ecu. revs like you wouldn't believe, make slight more power but I think the igniton is holding back. I am going to book it on the rollers again and set it up.
will post the results. Ivan 1972 MG Midget - AE86 Engine, Ford Anglia Axle - Escort LSD - Live the Dream!!1 |
