Thanks for the kind words guys. It's good to hear good things every once in a while, since everybody I tell this to just say "you're throwing your money away". I know I am of course, but hearing some positive comments every once in a while shure helps

ZaX, wheels are two 14x7 and two 14x7.5
As for pics of changing synchros, I'll try but I can't promise you anything, as I'm working in the morning and the mechanic might do it while I'm away.

Now, back to business, I got the car back from the bodyshop and the engine bay looks NEW. The guy fixed the rust, cleaned up the oil and painted it. Cost 160 euro.

So my mate Mike (in the oven picture) towed me to the mechanic with his heroic 1.6 Tipo (Forza Italia). The engine is now almost complete. Only cam covers, pulleys and the new flywheel remain to be fitted. Also, the AE86 wire loom will have to be customised to fit, since the engine loom is from FF layout, thus shorter.

I could have the car in my hands by Friday or Saturday, so stay tuned for loads of picies
