blacktop rev limiter issue

thanks, something is very wrong then, it´s a very large RPM difference for a tachometer issue. any ideas of why is the limiter set so low? I once read in another forum something about the 20v ECU setting the limiter around 7200 when the speed sensor was disconected or something like that? I tried to look for that post but I couldn´t find it.
