I did some measurements and it seems like i am about 1cm (0.4") short, but i have space left at the top. How flexible are those flares?

the one my younger brother is holding test fitting on his red AE86 is 3" front and 3.3" rear wide that can clear or flush a 14x10 front & 14x11 rear...

the first pic i posted will only clear a 14x9 +0
