If I remember correctly, there are thrust washers on the crankshaft
to control the forward and back movement. Without reference to the manual, I can't say the standard clearance. However, it will be quite small, probably no more than 0.5mm. When you say the clutch grabs... does it just give a tiny movement, or does the car actually jump forward by some distance ?? The release bearing that comes with a FWD clutch kit is completely wrong for a T50 setup. Did you change the release bearing ?? Did you install a spigot bearing in the ST flywheel ??
