I've also payed attention to Catcams but they tend to have too much lift. I need large duration cams to cope with my compression, but with higher lift than what I have right now.
I'll buy underbucket shims for sure but I'm trying to avoid having to rework my head to fit too big of a camshaft. I know they'll eventually hit the head, but I don't know at what lift. I also need to know how much lift and duration my hks valve springs can cope with. If you know anything about this subject, I'll be more than happy to hear from you! Resuming: 1 - How much lift can I go for without having to work my head for camshaft clearance? 2 - What's the maximum lift and duration a HKS valve spring can cope with? Thank you |
