4ac gearbox on 4age

Can i use a 4ac gearbox on my 4age engine ?

Is there any difference with the T50 tranny ?

What about ratios ?

All T-50 gearboxes have the same internal ratios.
The bellhousing can be swaped, the only potential problem is the output shaft spline count. Early T-50s had 20 and later models had 22 count. You can still get different speedo drive gears from the dealer to match your rearend ratio. Dave W

Digging from my memory I believe the 4AC was mated with a different bellhousing. The clutch slave cylinder is on the other side which is kind of in the way of the 4AGE exhaust manifold. Also the starter motor is on the other side, so the easiest is to swap either the bellhousing or find a 4AGE T50.
