I'm really hoping that's gonna happen soon, things are looking good for that. They are talking about spliting up Belgium for over a year now. Hurray!

Brake light went on today. Brake fluid was low and when i checked the brakes, i had a leak on the rear left caliper. I went by toyota and i need a new caliper Angry Cost 450€ per caliper without workAngry Angry Angry

Hope i can get it fixed before the next drift comp. And i'll see if i can find calipers somewhere else a bit cheaper. I already found one who can get them cheap. 143€ a piece. Then i'll place them myself.

But they have 2 types: akebono and original. Which one do i need for a '85 ae86?

I doubt there where actually 2 types of rear calipers used, but if it's any help, I have some refurbished ones laying in my room, and both the fronts and rears have the same markings cast in them. I'm pretty sure the front is an akebono system, so the rears are probably akebono too. BTW, I'm not selling these. Try ebay if you need cheap calipers, but to be honest, it's not going to get much cheaper than 143 euro's around europe. I imported mine from the US.

No, we opened it up and they asured me i needed a new one. Seeing as it's getting used for drifting i thought it was time to change them anyhow. So there are 2new ones going on the rear.

In the meanwhile i decided to keep my wheels now they fit without rubbing on full lock, it did some nasty things to them Tongue Most of you will hate it and wanna kick my ass, but i think it looks awesome.

Little teaser pic of the front wheel Evil Will get full ones on 2morrow Wave

The 8th of june i'm doing my next driftcomp during the GoFast X-Day @ Zolder. After that i'll start prepping and painting the car myself (if the weather allows it). A very unusual color to say the least but you'll have to wait and see and judge for yourself.

After the first comp i started looking for sponsors, and i found someone who is gonna make all my stickers and logo's for me, Auto5 Hasselt is going to sponsor me with major discount on parts and tyres Hurray! , and i can go there to work on my car myself with use of all the equipment and stuff for free Hurray! I used to work there (my brother still does)and the owner had 2 ae86's back in the day, so he is glad to help. The managers assistant used to prepare old skool toyota's for racing, and there are some mechanics who work there for over 30years, so lots of experience. I'm proud to wear their logo on my little corolla. My brother shot some video during the first comp, and they play it non-stop on a big tv they have in the store. Tongue And i think i have someone who can make a nice website for me.

So things are going good, starting to save up for my engine swap Evil Hope i can keep up with Jasper and Vernon when it's in Tongue
