this is a spring with less springrate, so its softer that the big one. These springs do the first job of the suspension. If this little spring is compressed the big spring takes over the action (Correct me if im wrong). If you put 3kg/mm little springs with the 8kg/mm big springs it will give you more comfort compare to only 8kg/mm. Its a bit like progressive springs...

I get the same impression, I have observed they are almost always fully compressed when car is on ground

Not so important for ride quality - just help to keep main springs always in full contact with upper and lower plates of coilover sleeves.

it´s with apexi pfc, toda flywheel and clutch, custom made stainless 4-2-1 exhaust manifold with 3" stainless pipe and one muffler. 4.3:1 rear and 195/50 R 15.

Hi guys yeh, I do I looking to build a house now, so had to make sacrifices, and as everyone knows these projects are money pits so I decided to part the car, but fear not, Im not selling the body and my project will return hopefully I can start a new 86 project with my car by next autumn or so
